Special Events

Cheryl uses stories to engage students and teach life-lessons. Her programs are specifically designed to be easy for you to host, and are flexible enough to revolve around your needs.

Whether you are celebrating a holiday or other special event, STORYTIME can provide your children with recreational as well as educational entertainment.

Types of Stories

These include hand, stick and life-size puppets, flannel board, creative dramatics and mask, cut and draw stories, songs and finger plays.

A variety of seasonal and age-appropriate stories will be told during a STORYTIME session, and can also include holidays if desired.

Picture Books

Holiday themes include Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter and Passover.

Child Participation:
Children become part of the show either by joining the story as a character or by learning a portion of the story and then reciting that portion of the story from their seats as a group.

Puppet Backdrop – Children have an opportunity to work the puppets as individual puppeteers!

Music is an integral part of each show. Children learn songs as well as listen to stories which incorporate catchy songs. Children learn this music quickly and have a chance to sing along.
